The Cabin the Woods (2012)

The Cabin in the Woods: Joss Whedon boasts of originality as the creator of characters and story for Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Toy Story. The originality continues with 2012 as the big year for him with the release of 'The Cabin in the woods' as writer and 'The Avengers' as writer/director.

As cliché as the title 'The Cabin in the woods' may sound, so innovative is its scripting. The 'whore', the 'athlete', the 'joker', the 'intellectual' and the 'virgin' intertwine in the 'Tales from the Crypt’; however, it’s not the 'Tales from the Crypt' at all. The comic sense is impeccable and succeeds Joss's legacy. The viewer would pre-empt it to be 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre but somehow it supersedes '28 Weeks Later' or 'Halloween' with subtle ode to the yesteryears.

Rave reviews are out after first screening of Avenger for Joss, documentarian of Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope. Will he be tough contender against 'The Dark Knight Rises’?
